Juggling a busy work week along the Wilson Mills Road business corridor leaves little time for multiple dental visits. Compounding this, Northeast Ohio’s sudden temperature drops can trigger intense sensitivity in a cracked tooth, while traditional crown procedures force you to wait weeks with a fragile, uncomfortable plastic temporary. Advanced technology eliminates the wait and gooey impression trays. The CEREC® chairside system uses digital CAD/CAM technology to mill a customized, highly resilient ceramic restoration right in the office. Long-term clinical data confirm that single-visit ceramic crowns significantly lower postoperative sensitivity by eliminating the need for provisional temporaries. Furthermore, extensive trials show that these chairside restorations provide exceptional fracture resistance and long-term durability that match those of traditional laboratory-fabricated options.
At Koski DePaul Dental Group, we design, mill, and bond your custom crown in a single appointment. Rebuild your tooth’s structural strength and walk out with a permanent, beautiful smile right here in Highland Heights.

CEREC® (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is an in-office milling system that transforms the way dental work is made and placed. Using a detailed intraoral scan of your tooth, the CEREC® system designs and fabricates a custom prosthetic from a high-quality ceramic block while you remain comfortably in the chair. The outcome is a restoration that fits accurately, looks natural, and is ready for permanent placement without ever leaving the practice.
Because the entire procedure takes place in one appointment, there is no need for putty impressions, no short-term restorations to manage at home, and no waiting period between visits. As part of our bio care dental solutions, this is precision dentistry built around your schedule and your comfort.
A CEREC® crown is a full-coverage ceramic cap placed over a damaged, weakened, or significantly decayed tooth. It rebuilds the tooth’s original shape, strength, and appearance using a single block of ceramic, shade-matched and milled to your exact specifications. The finished piece fits securely, functions naturally, and integrates seamlessly with the surrounding teeth.
CEREC® veneers use precision-crafted ceramic shells to cover imperfections on the front of your teeth, including chips and discoloration, as well as gaps and minor crowding. Because they are designed digitally and produced in-house, there is no waiting for an outside lab, and the results are consistently accurate. Veneers deliver a meaningful cosmetic improvement with minimal removal of healthy tooth structure.
When decay or damage affects the interior of a back tooth but does not extend to its outer cusps, an inlay offers a conservative and reliable solution. A CEREC® inlay is crafted to fit precisely within the affected area, rebuilding function without removing more tooth structure than necessary. It is a durable, tooth-colored alternative to a standard filling.
An onlay is the appropriate choice when deterioration extends to one or more cusps of a back tooth, but a full crown is not yet required. A CEREC® onlay covers the compromised area with the same level of care and ceramic quality as a crown while preserving more of the healthy natural tooth. It provides broader protection than an inlay and greater conservation than a crown.
Creating Beautiful vision
Our bio care dental treatment approach prioritizes your comfort and convenience. You may be an excellent candidate for a CEREC® prosthetic if you:
Have a cracked, chipped, or significantly decayed tooth that needs prompt attention
Want to avoid the inconvenience of multiple visits and short-term restorations
Need to replace an old, failing, or discolored filling or crown with a more lifelike option
Are seeking a cosmetic upgrade, such as a veneer, without an extended timeline
Have a strong preference for tooth-colored, metal-free prosthetics
Maintain a consistent oral hygiene regimen and attend regular checkups
We begin by capturing a detailed three-dimensional image of your tooth using our intraoral scanner. This replaces putty impression trays entirely and takes just a few minutes.
Using CEREC® software, your restoration is engineered chairside in real time. We review the shape, size, and fit on screen and refine every detail before the milling process begins.
Your custom prosthetic is milled from a high-quality ceramic block right here in our practice. The process typically takes under 20 minutes and requires no involvement from an outside laboratory.
Once fabricated, the piece is checked for fit and adjusted as needed to ensure your bite feels natural and the final result is seamless.
Your restoration is polished, bonded into place, and you leave the same day with a complete, long-lasting result that looks and functions like a natural tooth.

Most CEREC® appointments wrap up in a single visit of approximately one to two hours, from the initial scan through final bonding. The length of your visit will vary based on what is being worked on.
Yes. CEREC® prosthetics are milled from high-grade ceramic blocks engineered for durability and long-term performance, making them fully comparable to laboratory-fabricated pieces.
CEREC® prosthetics are shade-matched to your surrounding teeth and crafted from ceramic that closely mimics the translucency of natural enamel, making them virtually indistinguishable from the rest of your smile.
No. Because your permanent piece is fabricated and placed during the same visit, an interim crown is not required at any stage of the process.
Brush twice daily, floss carefully around the prosthetic, and keep up with your regular checkups. No specialized care is needed beyond your existing oral hygiene habits.
